Around the NFL with Ty Schalter
Ty Schalter from Bleacher Report joined the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn to cover the NFL. As the press conference went on this afternoon with Baltimore Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti to explain his views about the handling of the Ray Rice situation and the comments from ESPN's Outside The Lines, Scott and Jeremy ask Ty his thoughts. "He did admit to not going to get the video, he went on Ray's word. They almost certainly knew more than they tried to present."
The guys moved on to talks about the AFC and NFC divisions. Ty explains that he thinks that both divisions are very tight this year. When focusing on the AFC North conference, he states "it seems Cleveland will either win or lose by a field goal all season." When talking about the Bengals and wondering if Andy Dalton can follow through in the post season, Ty feels time will tell and says the Bengals "have one of the most balanced roster defense and offense. Right now the Bengals are in cruise control and I still see them at the top by the end of the season."
When talking about the NFC his big concern was with Green Bay Packers. "I want to know what's going on with Aaron Rodgers" and "I don't know where Randall Cobb is at. I have big concerns about where the Packers are at." The Packers lost despite 3 turnovers from the Detroit Lions.
Regarding the game tonight between the Chicago Bears and the New York Jets Ty says "the Bears are going to have to stop that run…Jets are going to have to find a way to outscore them and I don't see that happening. I see Bears winning this game."
