Police: 3 Bodies Found Connected To Gang Violence In Anne Arundel County
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Three bodies have been found in Anne Arundel County connected to gang violence Friday, according to police chief Tim Altomare.
Police tell WJZ they felt pressured to release information to show that they are taking action. However, they can't go into detail due to how dangerous the investigation is.
"It was very important for us to come out today and just let our citizens know that we're aware of the situation and their safety is important to us," said Lt. Ryan Frashure.
Where the bodies were found, and even who was arrested in connection to the crime is still a mystery.Chief Timothy Altomare said on Friday that they were "not prepared to discuss specifics..." A joint task force was developed in the county nearly one week ago declaring war on gangs trying to gain ground in the county.

Two members of the murderous gang, MS-13 were charged for beating a student at Annapolis High School last year and another nine members are facing charges in two separate stabbings.
"These gangs are terrorizing some local communities here in Anne Arundel County acting almost like local police enforcers. Threatening residents and committing brutal acts too unspeakable to detail here," said Anne Arundel County Executive Steve Schuh.
While police withhold many details about this investigation, they have good reason.
"The reason I'm so hesitant to answer questions up here, guys, is because I'm afraid I'm going to put another person in jeopardy," said Chief Altomare.
Police encourage anyone who sees gang activity or graffiti in their neighborhood to give them a call.
