Anne Arundel County Police Offering $10K Reward For Information In 4 Unsolved 2019 Homicides
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD. (WJZ) — Anne Arundel County police are offering a $10,000 reward for information in four unsolved homicides from 2019.
The victims are Robert Lee Thomas, Andre Lee Garrett, Michael Lee Wise III and Xavier John Arthur Green.
Wise was a boyfriend, a father and a son. He was one of four murder victims in Anne Arundel County in 2019 whose case remains unsolved.
Wise was gunned down on Gatewood Court on Halloween night.
"You could hear her horrible nightmarey screams," a neighbor told WJZ. "I still, to this day, can hear the horrible screams coming from her. It was something that will stick in your head forever."
The same neighbor said the incident changed Gatewood Court forever.
"I think about all the children that were out here," she said. "Halloween night is never going to be the same.
Wise's mother, Chantey Holmes, addressed the public Thursday, begging someone to come forward with information about the gunman.
"My granddaughter will never get the chance to grow up with her father who was a good man until the end," Holmes said. "He was trick-or-treating with his child on the night that he was killed."
Anne Arundel County Police Chief Timothy Altomare made a promise to the families stricken with grief.
"We will fight the fight that needs to be fought," he said. "Trust us to do it."
There were a total of 17 homicides in Anne Arundel County in 2019.
