Anne Arundel County Police Arrest 3 At Odenton Hotel After Fight Over Illegal Drugs
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ)-- Anne Arundel County police arrested a 31-year-old man and two women on various charges on Friday after responding to a disturbance call at an Odenton hotel.
Police say they responded to a call about a disturbance at the Royal Inn at 1630 Annapolis Road at 9:50 p.m. Witnesses at the scene directed them to a Chevy Trailblazer that was leaving the parking lot. Police stopped all traffic at the scene, including the Trailblazer. Police recognized the front seat passenger of the vehicle from previous encounters and realized he had an arrest warrant for violating probation. That suspect was Thomas Brooks Jr. Police say Brooks also had $3,200 in cash at the time.
The driver of the Trailblazer was identified as 26-year-old Lucretia Bosworth. She was arrested and charged for possession of more than 13 grams of crack cocaine.
Police say the disturbance at the scene was due to a fight over illegal drugs and that one of the witnesses who pointed police to the suspects in that disturbance also had an arrest warrant for a traffic violation. That suspect was identified as Ashley Michelle Beatty, 27.
Police say they seized the cash, drugs and even the vehicle from the scene.
