Anne Arundel County Fire Officials Investigating Arson In Brooklyn Park
MILLERSVILLE, Md. (WJZ)-- The Anne Arundel County Fire Department is investigating an arson that happened in Brooklyn Park in the early hours of Jan. 1.
At 4 a.m., firefighters responded to reports of a fire in the 300-block of Church Street. They reported fire and smoke coming from a one-story, single-family residence. They also found racial and sexist slurs painted on the exterior of the house.
The fire department said the fire displaced two elderly female residents and their male caregiver, and caused an estimated $150,000 in damages.
They are offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or persons responsible for this crime.
