Annapolis Mall Reopens After Brief Evacuation Due To Suspicious Item
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ)—Westfield Annapolis Mall has reopened after brief, partial evacuation due to a suspicious item outside JCPenney.
Officials say they were "operating out of an abundance of caution" after a good intention call from a concerned party.
Both Anne Arundel County police and fire responded to the scene.
All is clear, and the mall is back open for business.
