Andrew Siciliano Joins Glenn and Zinno To Talk NFL
Andrew Siciliano with the NFL Network joined Glenn Younes and Mark Zinno on 105.7 the fan to talk about news around the NFL.
The guys started off the conversation by asking Andrew if he thinks the Colts' trade for Trent Richardson shifts power over to the Colts in the AFC. Andrew said that he thinks this move makes Indy "noticeably better". He went on to say that the Colts have been looking to balance out their offense by running the ball more. "This gives them the battering ram that they need…it makes Indianapolis that much more dangerous."
Then they shifted gears and asked Andrew if the Redskins should have waited to start Robert Griffin III. "It was the right move to play him week 1; they didn't rush him back at all. But they will pay the price for the fact that he is rusty."
This week, three safeties in the NFL have been fined at least $42,000 for helmet to helmet hits. Glenn and Zinno then asked Andrew where he stands on these fines. Is the NFL being too strict or is it about safety? "It's about safety. All of these guys are repeat offenders…they are guys with rap sheets."
