Funeral Arrangements Set For Slain Baltimore County Police Officer
BALTIMORE COUNTY (WJZ) -- Funeral arrangements have been announced for Officer Amy Caprio, who was killed after being struck by a vehicle while investigating a burglary in Baltimore County Monday afternoon.
Visitation for Amy will be held Thursday, May 24 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Schimunek Funeral Home at 9705 Belair Rd, Nottingham, Md. 21236.
A funeral service will be held Friday, May 25 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Mountain Christian Church - New Life Center at 1802 Mountain Road, Joppa, MD 21085.
A committal service to follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens at 200 E. Padonia Road, Timonium, MD 21093.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Amy's memory may be made to the:

Due to the volume expected for the viewing, all lanes of Belair Road will be closed in both directions between Chapel Road and Honeygo Boulevard from noon until 10 p.m.

Signs will divert traffic to Joppa Road, Chapel Road and Honeygo Boulevard with detour information.
