BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Preakness and Derby winner American Pharoah leaves Pimlico.
Before heading to Belmont in his quest for the Triple Crown, American Pharoah is going to get some rest at Churchill Downs.
The horse, trained by Bob Baffert, won the Derby by seven lengths and is on a six race winning streak.
He'll race at Belmont in New York on June 6.
Another of Baffert's horses, Dortmund, who came in fourth at Preakness is American Pharoah's stable mate. He's headed to California for a break.
