Amber Alert Issued For 2 D.C. Children
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Authorities in Washington have canceled an Amber Alert for two children they say were taken by their father.
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children canceled the alert early Friday morning after the children were located. The center had issued the alert about 11 p.m. Thursday saying 2-year-old Robert Anthony Anderson III and his 10-month-old sister Tiara Imani Anderson were abducted by their father, Robert Anthony Anderson II.
Officials say they have taken the father into custody.
