Alzheimer's Association Closing Hagerstown Office
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- The Alzheimer's Association says it will close its Hagerstown office next month in an effort to save money amid a tough economy.
Cass Naugle, the association's executive director of the Maryland chapter, tells The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown that the office will close on Sept. 1. Naugle says western Maryland operations will be run from the organization's Frederick office.
She said closing the office will save the group about $6,400 a year. The move comes as cuts are being made throughout the organization.
