All Traffic Lanes Open On Route 13 Bridge
SALISBURY, Md. (AP) -- All traffic lanes have reopened as the rehabilitation project on the Route 13 bridge over Route 50 nears completion.
The $6.7 million project began in the fall of 2009. Weather permitting, it is expected to be completed early next year.
The State Highway Administration says temporary lane closures are still possible as workers finish sidewalk work and landscaping.
The Daily Times of Salisbury reports that the project includes the replacement of all four travel lanes on the bridge deck. The bridge was built in 1961.
