AFC Championship Preview With Mike Flynn
Former Ravens Center and current host on Boston's 98.5 the Sports Hub joined Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn and Jason La Canfora to preview this weekends AFC Championship Game between the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots. Mike gave his thoughts on the Ravens blowing not one, but two 14 point leads. "You know unfortunately the defense, you're given two 14 point leads and its your job to hold that lead. I know issues with the secondary, and it showed, gave Brady a lot of space to throw underneath and eventually it caught up to them. He got into a rhythm in the second half and kind of negated the rush a little bit because Brady can get the ball out of his hands pretty quick. But it was a good game, getting up early in a tough place to win, but they had it."
The generally feeling in the New England area was that the Ravens would be the toughest team that the Patriots would face on the road to the Super Bowl. Jeremy asked Mike if there is a concern of the Colts possibly knocking off the Pats. "There isn't a concern, it was more this past week versus the Ravens because of the Ravens style and the history that they've in that stadium was the issue. And I don't think its going to be that much of a issue to be honest with you because the last three times they have played them they've rolled them pretty good."
Mike finished the interview by giving his prediction for the Super Bowl.
