Accident Involving Md. State Trooper Briefly Shuts Down I-695
PARKVILLE, Md. (WJZ) -- A Maryland State Trooper narrowly avoids being hit by a car in Baltimore County.
It happened Friday night on the Outer Loop of I-695 past Harford Road in Parkville.
Authorities say the trooper was investigating a collision when a blue Honda Fit struck his cruiser.
The impact sent the vehicle into a concrete barrier.
The trooper barely escaped being struck.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Honda was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The accident shut down all lanes of traffic for about an hour.
