92-Year-Old Hit In Head With Cane During Robbery
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Annapolis police say a 92-year-old man was hit with his own cane by a robber in the hallway of his apartment building.
It happened about 6:50 p.m. Friday at the Timothy House on Washington Street. Police say the robber grabbed the man and demanded money.
Officers tell The Capital of Annapolis that the victim tried to fight the robber off with his cane, but the robber grabbed it and hit the victim in the head.
The victim fell and dislocated his fingers. The robber fled with nothing.
