56 Pounds Of Marijuana Seized After Traffic Stop
CENTREVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police have arrested a man after troopers say they found 56 pounds of marijuana in a car during a traffic stop in Queen Anne's County.
Police say a trooper stopped a car about 2:40 p.m. Tuesday on Route 301 in Centreville. The trooper called for a drug-sniffing dog.
Officers tell WOBC-TV that a search of the vehicle turned up two 28-pound blocks of marijuana in the trunk of the car.
Terron Gowayne Blair, 28, of Brooklyn, N.Y. was arrested and charged with numerous drug offenses.
