5 Horrible Super Bowl Halftime Shows
So, with the Seahawks who won last year (and from popular memes evidently didn't have any fans pre 2012) & the heavily reviled New Cheatland Patriots in the Super Bowl it'll be hard for everyone who's not a homer of these two teams to care about the outcome of the game.
But, at least there's the commercials & of course the vaunted Super Bowl Halftime Show to look forward to, right?

Not so fast....over the years American Football fans have been subjected to some of the worst, and we mean absolute worst "entertainment" imaginable during the Big Game.
As an homage to poor entertainment, over the top & bizarre production values & questionable headliners we present 5 of the worst halftime shows ever!
Enjoy!...?
1995 - "Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye"
Um, thanks Disney. Patti Labelle, Tony Bennett, Sitless dancers in "Hammer Don't hurt 'em" pants...Spectacle indeed.
2000 - Enrique Iglesias & Christina Aguilera
"Celebrate the Future" indeed. ...with over the top vocals, a forgettable song & a legion of mohawk'd drummers.
2003 - Shania Twain, No Doubt, Sting
America loves lip synching...and evidently we used to love Shania Twain? What was that all about?
1999 - Gloria Estefan, Stevie Wonder & Big Bad Voodoo Daddy...& E.T.
So yeah, this one starts with E.T. & just gets weirder & weirder after that.
1980 - Up With People
Wow, this is what we looked forward before the NFL started tapping the big names. Polyester, forced smiles & wholesome kids easily talented enough to do a show at a theme park abound!
The Puppy Bowl & a plate of nachos is starting to look very appealing.
