5 Charged In Armed Home Invasion In Frederick
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Police in Frederick have charged five males in an armed home invasion and robbery.
Lt. Clark Pennington says all five were in a silver SUV that was seen leaving the home on South Everly Drive after the incident late Thursday night.
Pennington says police found a handgun and some marijuana in the vehicle.
The incident was similar to one early Saturday in which a group of armed men stole cash and valuables from a home on Heather Ridge Court.
Pennington says police are looking for connections between the Thursday incident and any similar crimes.
