46-Foot Charter Boat Damaged In Fire
TILGHMAN ISLAND, Md. (AP) -- Fire officials say a 46-foot commercial charter boat at Tilghman Island was heavily damaged by fire.
The fire was reported about 3:30 p.m. Thursday. A local television station reports that it took 30 firefighters about 20 minutes to bring the blaze under control. There were no injuries.
The state Fire Marshal says the fire caused more than $200,000 in damage to the vessel. The cause is under investigation.
