4 Plead Guilty In Burglary Spree With 100+ Victims
LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) -- Four people have pleaded guilty in a three-state burglary spree that had more than 100 victims in one Pennsylvania county alone.
Three men and one woman pleaded guilty Friday to dozens of felony burglary charges stemming from the break-ins at campsites in Lancaster County last spring.
A judge accepted the pleas and ordered William Knight, 23, and his wife, Sherry, 39, to be sentenced June 30 along with Anthony Gesford, 39, and John Ierley Jr, 26.
Investigators tell the Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era that 117 victims have been identified in Lancaster County. The four still face charges in nearby Adams County as well as Maryland and Delaware.
A fifth suspect is also expected to plead guilty in 32 burglaries.
