3,000 9/11 Motorcycles Ride Through Western Md. Into D.C.
BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- The patriotic spectacle of America's 9/11 motorcycle ride roared through Western Maryland and into Washington, D.C.
About 3,000 motorcyclists left Shanksville, Pa Friday morning.
The 20-mile long convoy was met with cheers at every overpass. Police closed off several entrance ramps to allow the riders to pass on by.
The group will visit the Pentagon Saturday before heading to New York.
