3 Va. Men Charged With Killing D.C. Man Last Month
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Three Virginia men have been charged in the death of a District of Columbia man who was found stabbed and strangled in his basement apartment.
Police have charged the men with first-degree murder in the June 19 death of Glenn Scarborough in northeast Washington.
A police affidavit says one of the suspects, Theodore Reginald Spencer, 21, is the son of Scarborough's girlfriend,
who was hospitalized for cancer. Police say she has since died.
The other suspects are Phillip Swan, 20, and Terrell Wilson, 19.
Spencer's attorney declined to comment. Attorneys for the other two men did not return calls for comment.
