3 Stabbed Outside Cecil County Bar
ELKTON, Md. (AP) -- Elkton police have charged a Delaware man with stabbing three men outside a bar.
Police say Matthew Thomas Slavish, 23, of Newark, Del., stabbed one man in the abdomen during an argument early Saturday in the parking lot near the Drunk Monkey bar. When two other men tried to subdue Slavish, police say he stabbed them too -- one in the abdomen and forearm and the other in the thigh.
Lt. Matthew Donnelly says the men were taken to Christiana Hospital in Delaware, where they were treated for non-life threatening wounds. He says Slavish was arrested after a bail bondsman, who was one of several bystanders, forced Slavish to the ground and handcuffed him.
Slavish is facing assault, weapons and drug possession charges.
He was held on $70,000 bond.
