3 Men Accused Of Trying To Steal 130 Tires
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Three men were arrested after police say they tried to steal 130 tires from an automotive store.
Calvin Keeney Jr., 39, of Harpers Ferry W. Va., Stephen Lee Travels, 29, of Woodsboro and Reuben Lynn, 41, of New Market were charged with burglary and conspiracy.
Frederick police tell the News-Post of Frederick that about 4:40 a.m. Sunday, the three loaded a rented box truck with 130 tires taken from Pep Boys on West Patrick Street. The tires were worth about $12,000.
