3 Heat-Related Deaths Reported In Md.
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Maryland health officials say three people died from heat-related conditions last week.
The Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene said Tuesday that the three victims were a Baltimore woman age 65 or older; a Somerset County man between the ages of 45 and 64; and a Prince George's County man between the ages of 45 and 64.
All three had underlying health conditions.
The department says nine people have died of heat-related illness this year.
