Second Man Pleads Guilty In Fatal Shooting In Brooklyn Park
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- A second man has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the robbery and shooting of a man in Brooklyn Park.
Rodney R. Barnwell, 23, entered the plea Wednesday in Anne Arundel County Circuit Court. As part of a plea agreement, Barnwell will be sentenced to 60 years in prison on May 30.
Barnwell and Ricky Lamont Mason, 23, admitted to fatally shooting Adam Bucklew, 21, in front of his home on July 1, 2010. The Capital of Annapolis reports that a witness saw Barnwell take cash from Bucklew's pocket before fleeing. The robbery netted $17.
Mason will be sentenced May 9.
