21 WMD Gang Members Arrested In Harford County Drug Bust
HARFORD COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)—The Harford County Sheriff's Office announces a massive drug bust. Hundreds of thousands of dollars in drugs are off the streets.
Officers arrested 21 members of the street gang World's Most Dangerous, also known as WMD.
In addition, more than $680,000 worth of cocaine, heroin and marijuana were seized during the 15 search and seizure operations.
Investigators had been tracking the group for nearly a year, and the operation spanned from Harford County all the way to Atlanta, Ga.
In addition to the drug dealing, police say the WMD were also involved in street robberies and shootings.
Other local organizations and the FBI assisted in the operation.
