2017 Is Looking Up With New Oreo Candy Bar
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Oreo empire is expanding. After mastering the cookie game, they're set to dabble in the candy bar market, collaborating with European chocolate company Milka to form the Milka Oreo Big Crunch Bar and Milka Oreo Chocolate Candy Bar.
Commence salivation.
There are options similar to these ostensibly groundbreaking candy bars already available in Europe. But because this is America, Oreo and Milka felt the inherent need to brush up on excessive, as one of the sweets they're creating is more a candy brick than candy bar. The Big Crunch Bar is selling for $4.99 at 10.5oz. (A typical Hershey's Milk Chocolate Bar is 4.4oz for scale.)
The gargantuan candy brick is comprised of chocolate cookies at its inner core, surrounded by two layers of vanilla crème filling which is covered in Milka chocolate candy. This version will be the first to hit the market, but it'll be limited available from Monday before being 100 percent unleashed to the country by January.
At least the regular sized Chocolate Candy Bar, which won't be available for consumption until January, will be available in three more normal sizes ranging from $0.98 to $1.79.
