$200,000 Settlement Reached 6 Years After Fire Cadet Dies In Bothced Training Exercise
BALTIMORE (WJZ)—Baltimore City settles a lawsuit brought on the family of a fire department recruit killed during a bothced training exercise.
Twenty-nine-year-old Racheal Wilson's family will receive $200,000.
They originally sued for $10 million.
After her death in 2007, an independent investigation found the training exercise in a vacant building violated more than four dozen safety standards.
