2 Teens Charged With Robbing, Killing D.C. Area Man
BLADENSBURG, Md. (AP) -- Bladensburg police say two teenagers robbed and fatally beat a 54-year-old man they had been drinking beer with.
The two teens, who have been charged as adults with first-degree murder and robbery, were identified Monday as 15-year-old Andre Attaway and 17-year-old James Murray. The two are charged in the death of David Krupski.
Police say Krupski was about to leave his apartment to buy more beer when the two decided to rob him. Investigators told The Washington Post that the teens beat Krupski with a shovel he tried to use to defend himself. His body was found late Saturday night near his apartment complex.
