2 Teens Charged In School Stabbing In Prince George's County
CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) -- Police say two female high school students in Prince George's County are facing charges after a fight that apparently began over a wig.
Prince George's County schools spokesman Briant Coleman says the altercation between two students at Fairmount Heights High School in Capitol Heights happened at about 9 a.m. Friday. One girl was stabbed.
Police say the girl who was stabbed started the fight. She has been charged with second-degree assault and is in critical but stable condition at a hospital.
The girl who stabbed her has been charged with first-degree assault.
Police recovered a paring knife at the scene.
