2 Shot In Home Invasion In Montgomery County
ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Authorities in Montgomery County say a man and juvenile girl were shot in a home invasion in Aspen Hill but both are expected to survive.
Police say they responded to a shooting Thursday around 1 a.m. in the 13000-block of Freeland Road. Montgomery County Police say they found a 55-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the upper body and a 14-year-old girl with a gunshot wound to the ankle.
Police say an investigation revealed two suspects forced their way through a door and demanded money from the residents. The suspects, who are described as between the ages of 20 and 25, then fled. No arrests have been made.
