2 Shot During Attempted Robbery In Gaithersburg
GAITHERSBURG, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County Police say two people were shot during an apparent robbery attempt at a Gaithersburg business.
Police received a 911 call about 1 p.m. Thursday reporting shots fired. Officer arrived at Sweeney Building Services and found a 65-year-old man and a 75-year-old woman who had been shot.
Authorities say a glass door to the business had been shot out. Witnesses reported seeing two or three suspects.
The shooting victims were taken to local hospitals with injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening.
