2 Men Stabbed In Unrelated Incidents
EDGEWATER, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say two men were stabbed in unrelated incidents in Anne Arundel County.
County police say Roberto Garcia, 64, stabbed a man he had been drinking with at a bar in Edgewater early Saturday morning. The Capital of Annapolis reports that the 47-year-old victim was taken to Shock Trauma in Baltimore with non-life threatening injuries. His name was not immediately released.
Police say another customer at the bar struck Garcia, knocking him down, and recovered the knife. Garcia has been charged with attempted murder and assault.
Also early Saturday, Annapolis police were called to the scene of a stabbing in an apartment complex. Police say William Brown, 30, suffered several knife lacerations to his upper body. Police are investigating.
