2 Men Die After Boat Capsizes In Chesapeake Bay
PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say two Pennsylvania men have died and two were injured after a fishing boat capsized in the Chesapeake Bay.
Sgt. Art Windemuth, a spokesman for the Maryland Natural Resources Police, says the incident happened about noon Friday near Breezy Point in Calvert County. He says all were taken to Calvert Memorial Hospital, where two died.
A family member and a friend identified the two dead men as Stephen Sowers, 67, and his brother, John Sowers, 64, both of York County, Pa. A family friend identified the other two men in the boat as Robert Sowers, a brother of John and Stephen Sowers, and Matt Hinkle, a son-in-law of John Sowers.
