2 Men Arrested On Drug Charges In Frederick
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Two Frederick men are facing drug charges after a police officer says he found them ingesting cocaine.
Yonis Barahuna-Funes and Elmer Omar Galindo were arrested just after midnight Saturday after an officer said he noticed them acting suspiciously near a shopping center. Police say the men were found with cocaine and paraphernalia.
They were taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center and appeared before a District Court commission for a bond hearing.
Galindo was released on his own recognizance. Barahuna-Funes, who was found to have an open warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving without a license, received a $7,500 bond.
Phone listings for the men could not immediately be found.
