During the course of this investigation, Baltimore County detectives become aware of a kidnapping in Baltimore City that occurred late Monday afternoon in Baltimore City. City police say a woman was forced into a vehicle near Greenspring Avenue and Druid Park Drive.
The suspect vehicle in both city and county kidnappings matched, and detectives located and arrested the suspects just before 11:30 p.m. Monday.
Police also found that the suspect who forced the 17-year-old girl into the car was connected to a separate kidnapping on Sept. 25.
In this case, an 18-year-old woman got off the bus at Edmonson and Ingleside avenues at around 10 p.m. and began to walk to work when a Ford SUV pulled up beside her. A suspect pointed a gun at her and ordered her to get into the car.
The suspect drove the victim to the corner of an apartment complex on Fern Valley Circle and forced her to perform a sexual act. The suspect stole personal property from the victim, including her ID card, money and camera. The victim then got out of the car, and the suspect drove away.
Both suspects are being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
