2 Killed, 3 Wounded In Baltimore On Halloween
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore police say two men were killed, two others were shot and a fifth person was stabbed in the city on Halloween night.
The Baltimore Sun reports one man was shot in Southwest Baltimore near North Bend Elementary School. The victim, William Simmons, died later at a hospital.
Later, officers found a 47-year-old man who was shot in the head. He died just before midnight.
Two other victims suffered non-fatal injuries. One shooting was reported just after 7:15 p.m. Wednesday night near the Kennedy Krieger Institute and Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Later, another man arrived at a hospital with a shooting wound.
Police were also investigating a stabbing in the Washington Village/Pigtown neighborhood.
