2 Indicted In Md. Hit-And-Run That Killed 2 Teens
BALTIMORE (AP) -- A Baltimore grand jury has indicted a man and woman from Anne Arundel County in a hit-and-run crash that killed two teenage girls.
The indictment charges Reuben Dunn, 28, of Severn, who surrendered to authorities on Tuesday, with two counts each of automobile manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in death and one count of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Kendra Myles, 26, who was arrested last week, is charged with accessory after the fact.
Police say Courtney Angeles, 16, and Emerald Smith, 17, were hit in June while crossing Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near Pigtown and died. The car was stopped a short time later and police say the officer detained the occupants after noticing damage to the car.
