2 Hurt In Hagerstown House Fire

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Firefighters in Hagerstown say two people are being treated at a local hospital for injuries they suffered in a house fire.

Hagerstown Fire Department Battalion Chief Mark Cleck told The Herald-Mail that the fire was reported at about 7:30 a.m. Monday at a three-story home on North Avenue.

He says he doesn't know the severity of their injuries.

Cleck says one of the patients was rescued by firefighters from the second floor of the home.

He says a third person in the home didn't require hospital care.
