2 Charged With Breaking Into Fast-Food Restaurant
NORTH EAST, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police have arrested two teenagers they say broke into a fast-food restaurant near North East.
Jonathan Dejesus, 18, of Elkton and a 16-year-old boy are charged with burglary and theft. Dejesus was released on $10,000 bond and the youth was released to his parents.
Troopers say last week, three suspects smashed open the drive-thru window at the Burger King, causing about $5,000 in damage and stealing more than $3,000.
Officers say the three made off with three cash registers. The third suspect is still at large.
