2 Charged In Fatal Hit-And-Run In Md.
WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) -- State police say two men have been charged with felonies in a fatal hit and run near Westminster last summer.
Nineteen-year-old Darrell Garrett of Taneytown and 22-year-old Nicholas Lee Black of Keymar have been charged with failure to remain at the scene of a crash involving injury or death. Trial is set for March 15.
Police say Garrett was driving the car that struck and killed James Robinette Jr. along Md. 97 on June 20. Authorities say Black was a passenger.
Robinette's body was found the next day by a jogger.
