2 Charged In Carjacking Attempt
LOTHIAN, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County Police have charged two people with trying to carjack a neighbor at knifepoint.
Conley Bell, 47, and Charity Lowe, 39, have been charged with attempted kidnapping, attempted armed carjacking and other offenses.
Police say about 6:30 p.m. Saturday, the couple was talking with a neighbor when Bell suddenly grabbed him from behind and put a knife to his throat.
Police say Bell demanded that the victim take them where they wanted to go. As they entered the car, the victim grabbed the keys and ran away.
