2 Arrested In Cecil County Slaying
EARLEVILLE, Md. (AP) -- State police in Maryland have arrested two people in connection with the slaying of a 71-year-old Cecil County man.
Maryland State Police say they arrested Lillian Jacobs, 24, and John Wayne Davis, 31, on Tuesday. Both are charged with first- and second-degree murder. Police say Jacobs and Davis were given a ride to John Fleming's home on the day he died, and when police took them into custody they saw bloodstains on their clothing.
A friend found Fleming dead inside his Earleville home Monday morning. Police say a friend of Fleming's reported that he found Fleming's truck on the side of the road less than a mile from the victim's home and went to his house where he found him deceased.
