Apartment Fire Puts A Dozen Families Out Of Their Homes
REISTERSTOWN, Md. (WJZ) -- An apartment fire in Reisterstown injures residents and leaves a dozen families homeless.
Christie Ileto has more on what happened.
Fire investigators are working to figure out what caused a two-alarm fire to rip through an apartment complex in Baltimore County.
Investigators say the fire started around 9 p.m. Tuesday--likely on the second floor.
Seven people were rescued from the burning building, ten were treated on the scene and four were hospitalized.
In total, 12 apartment units were damaged.
"I actually had to catch a lady that jumped from the third story. God is good, and I was in a position to save her," said Cedric Bradley, resident.
"Flames coming from the ceiling, things falling down, the windows burst in. People were over there helping. It was really a lot of teamwork though," one resident said.
The Red Cross is assisting residents.
