2-Alarm Fire Damages Md. Bar, Restaurant
PERRYVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Fire officials say a two-alarm blaze caused $30,000 damage to a Cecil County restaurant and bar.
The State Fire Marshal's Office says the fire at the Rendezvous Bar and Restaurant in Perryville was reported Thursday morning.
About 60 firefighters from several companies brought the blaze under control in about 30 minutes. There were no injuries.
Officials say the fire began in an exterior boiler room and was caused by a mechanical malfunction with a natural gas line.
