17-Year-Old Stabbed, Killed In Downtown Hagerstown
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Police say a 17-year-old male was found stabbed in the chest in downtown Hagerstown and later died at a hospital.
Police say the young man was found on the sidewalk in the 100-block of West Franklin Street late Friday night suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to Meritus Medical Center where he died.
Police have arrested Antonio Gardner, 26, of the District of Columbia in the stabbing. He is charged with second-degree murder and related charges.
The victim's name was not immediately released Saturday.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward with information.
