Teen Arrested In Baltimore Sex Assault, 2nd Suspect Still Sought
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A suspect has been arrested in the armed carjacking and sexual assault of two women in West Baltimore last week. Baltimore Police Commissioner Kevin Davis made the announcement on Friday afternoon.
Quamontae Johnson, 17, is charged as an adult in the vicious attack that happened on Thursday, August 18. He now faces more than 50 counts, including first- and second-degree assault and rape.
A second suspect, 18-year-old Levi Bonds, is still on the loose, said Comm. Davis. He is now wanted for rape, carjacking and a host of other charges.
"This kind of came together very, very quickly, and we're just happy to report that lat least one of these guys is off the street," Comm. Davis said. "And we've got one to go."
Investigators say Johnson and Levi Bonds, 18, robbed two young women at gunpoint near Druid Hill and MLK, and forced them to drive around for more than an hour.

The suspects made several calls to contacts in the women's cell phones, demanding ransom, BPD Detective Jeremy Silbert told WJZ last week.
The ordeal ended in a West Baltimore alley, where Johnson and Bonds allegedly raped both women and then ran away.
"This despicable crime committed by these two criminals, if this doesn't motivate people to come forward and drop a dime on Levi Bonds, I have no idea what does," said Comm. Davis.
The department hopes to have Bonds in custody by the end of the weekend.
