Reward Increased In Hit-And-Run Death Of Pasadena Teen
PASADENA, Md. (WJZ) -- The reward is increased in a deadly hit-and-run that took the life of an Anne Arundel County teenager. Skylar Marion was killed in April as he walked along Mountain Road. The driver that hit him never stopped.

Police have been searching for the driver that killed Skylar Marion since April. They hope this increased reward may help crack the case.
A Christmas wreath marks the spot where 15-year-old Skylar Marion lost his life.
"I didn't put a tree up. I didn't put no lights up. We didn't do Christmas," said his father, Mike Marion.
Mike Marion's son was walking up Mountain Road in April around 9:30 p.m. with two friends. That's when he was struck by a 1997 to 2002 Ford Expedition. The driver has never been found.
"Is this a dream? When am I going to wake up? And then you wake up and find out that it's real," he said.
A $20,000 reward is now being offered for information leading to an arrest in the case. Police hope it generates new tips.
"This was a 15-year-old child who tragically lost his life. He was a member of the community here. He was a member of the school community. This affects everyone in Anne Arundel County," said Justin Mulcahy, Anne Arundel County Police.
This case may have a bigger impact. The General Assembly will consider "Skylar's Law," which would increase penalties for drivers who leave the scene of an accident.
Lawmakers have also pushed for improvements along Mountain Road, including the replacement of burnt out street lights.
For Mike Marion, he just hopes the driver is caught.
"Somebody knows something. Somebody's going to talk," he said.
The Marion family donated Skylar's organs. His heart wound up saving the life of one of his classmates.
Anyone with information on the hit and run is asked to call Anne Arundel County Police.
