15-Year-Old Arrested After Joking He Had A Gun At School

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- A 15-year-old has been arrested after joking he had a gun at school.

Police say the boy attends the Forbush School, a Sheppard Pratt Facility that provides services for children with emotional and behavioral disabilities.

Police say the boy had been placed in a "timed out" room and told Forbush staff that he had a weapon.  Police say he then said he was joking about having a gun.

Police responded, found that he did not have a gun and took him into custody.

The boy has been charged with disorderly conduct and disturbing school activities.
